Hi, I’m Anne.
I'm a Masseuse (Indian Head Massage , Sports & more), Aromatherapist, Reflexologist and Counsellor….But I used to be a Social worker! For 35 years! At 57, I was lucky enough to retire from that to pursue my purpose in holistic healing and embark on other new life adventures, too. My husband Ian and I used to pretend we were on ‘A Place in the Sun’, while on holiday and one day we decided to make this sunshine dream a reality! We planned a 5-week trip to scope out the south coast of Spain. The first week was spent in Cartima and the second, in magical Frigiliana. I’d never heard of it before, no idea what to expect, and we picked it at random. Driving up the mountain, we turned the corner, saw the village from afar and I said to Ian, ‘This is it, this is where I want to be!’ It wasn’t just something visual, I felt a strong emotional connection, I can’t describe. We cut our 5 weeks short, came back to Frigiliana and never left! During lock down, Claire and her family decided to join us. It was her dream to develop a unique Spa experience in the sun, offering luxurious massages for our clients from their own homes. The day we treated our first clients got me thinking, ‘Crikey! This is it, it’s happening.’ It’s so lovely to meet new people, share their stories and form real connections. To be able to help our clients relax and disconnect from the world. I personally get so much from supporting that healing. In between treating our lovely customers, I love the gym, pilates and Dragon Boat Racing. Our two kittens, Timmy & Tobby, (AKA Ronnie & Reggie) keep me very busy too, biting through our internet wire!
Hi, I’m Claire.
I’m a Masseuse in Indian Head Massage, Sports, Aromatherapy & Reflexology and a Beautician covering facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing & tinting. I opened my first Salon at only 23 in Leicester, then I became a Mummy of 2 to Amelia and Albert, now teenagers (not revealing my age), and we decided to move back up North to open my second salon in Cheshire to be closer to our family. I loved the salon business, it’s such a buzz. Great clients becoming great friends, but a lot of crazy hours, sometimes 14-hour days. During lockdown we were forced to work from home, and I realised I could do my online after-care consultations anywhere in the world. Like lots of people, we had a re-evaluation of our values, specifically work-life balance. We got the white board out, (yes, we have a white board,) for ideas and decided our dream would be the delivery of in-home spa packages in the sun. My Mum and Dad had already moved to the beautiful village of Frigiliana, so we decided to join them. We sold our house, handed over the keys and literally drove away the same day to spend the rest of our lives in sunny Spain. Our dream is now a reality, only the other day we were delivering a spa experience in Torrox and I looked up and there’s the sun and a beautiful mountain range and I looked over at my Mum like, ‘We’re here! This is us going to work! We’re living our dream, I can’t believe it!’ Even with the white board out, I could never have imagined how wonderful it would be. It’s something else, It’s magical. I can’t wait to see how we progress, organically. Our packages are helping people to create lifelong memories which means so much to us all. I love eating and drinking, ha ha, they’re my current hobbies. I love to go to the gym, too. I love having treatments myself, that’s my favourite thing. I also have two fur babies, Buddy and Dash, the laziest dogs in the world.

Hiya, I’m Rachel.
I’m a Freelance Writer and Theatre Director/Producer now pivoting into branding, marketing and advocacy. I started out as a client of both Anne and Claire and it changed my life! Having completely fallen for the Mother and Daughter duo , I believe so passionately in their ability to improve lives that I have joined the team, as a consultant for Frigiliana Wellness. In 2020, my husband passed away during the first UK lockdown. Frigiliana was always our solace, our little piece of paradise. 3 months after his passing, I decided to return, to re-evaluate and to rejuvenate. I felt lost, helpless and alone. Friends encouraged me to attend an in-villa spa day by Frigiliana Wellness. Initially, I was reluctant. Vulnerable and anxious, I wanted to remain in the safety of my apartment, but I went, and that was when I met Anne. She is such a grounded person, a wonderful human being. She instantly recognised my needs and put me at ease. Anne gave me a reflexology and back massage treatment, while I stared out at the countryside and down to the sea, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Frigiliana. For the first time since my husband’s death, I felt a sense of tranquillity. The combination of Anne’s aura, the view and the holistic healing experience gave me an inner calm. I remember thinking, ‘I may just be okay, eventually, I may find peace.’ I still visit the two as a client, but I’m happy to say that both Anne and Claire are now close friends, too. They are such an asset to our beautiful village! I’ve joined the team to help share their marvellous gift with the rest of the world! My puppy wants to weigh in, too! You know how they say animals can sense auras? My lovely little Rio, rescued from the riverbed at only 4 weeks is obsessed with Anne. If she’s alright for Rio, she’s alright for me!
